OE considers research and development (R&D) a crucial factor in the company’s long-term development strategy.
OE in July 2008 established its subsidiary Orient Pharma Co. Ltd. to focus on drug R&D and manufacturing. The subsidiary is presently building a new plant in the Central Taiwan Science Park in Huwei Township that was designed to comply with international pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.
OE hopes that by joining forces with the subsidiary, the company can achieve greater synergy and enhance its position in the global pharmaceutical market.
