OE established its nutricare division in 1991 to be the exclusive distributor in Taiwan of New Zealand milk products as well as nutritional supplements. The company has participated in joint research efforts by experts from New Zealand and Taiwan for new products specifically developed to suit the needs of the Asia-Pacific market. The nutricare division’s infant formulas and products include Karihome, Babecare, Ostricare, Supracare, and Infacare.

A survey conducted by market intelligence provider TNS in 2009 revealed that OE continues to be the leader in goat milk formulas, while the company’s cow milk formulas also ranked among the top three.

The division’s goal from the very beginning has been to enhance the nutrition of babies in Taiwan so they may one day grow into fit, healthy adults.

• Karihome
  Developed in 1991, Karihome is the result of joint efforts between expert researchers from New Zealand and Taiwan for an infant formula specifically developed to suit the needs of the Asia-Pacific market. Manufactured in New Zealand under the strictest quality controls, Karihome complies with Taiwan’s Department of Health quality standards.
  
• Babecare
  Babecare has been marketed in Taiwan for over 12 years. Its product line includes infant/children cow and goat milk powder, food supplements and nutritional products. Together with researchers from New Zealand Dairy Goat Co., the Babecare infant/children cow and goat milk powder products are specifically developed to fit the nutritional needs of Taiwanese babies.
• Ostricare
  Developed in conjunction with European dairy groups Nutribio and Lactalis, Ostricare hydrolyzed protein formulas offer a comprehensive infant nutrition regimen that satisfies the needs of parents in Taiwan.
• Infacare
  Infacare diapers are imported directly from Europe and provide Taiwanese infants with the same high-quality products for everyday use as their European counterparts.
