Oncology
The rapid increase in the occurrence of cancer in recent years has led to a corresponding growth in the oncology sector. At the same time, innovative oncology drugs continue to be introduced with improvements in R&D and technology. To meet the trend, OEP’s oncology division was established in 2001 to market drugs to treat cancer and other diseases resulting from cellular dysfunction and uncontrolled cell growth.. Currently, the main products in OEP’s oncology are anti-cancer and anti-hemophilia drugs.
◎ Anti-cancer drug
OEP’s main oncology product is Navelbine , indicated for the treatment of non-small cell lung and metastatic breast cancers including:
- Navelbine IV
- Navelbine Oral
Navelbine oral is a cost-effective regimen that provides the same efficacy as intravenous drugs, with reduced side effects and increased convenience to significantly improve the quality of life of patients.

Secondly, OEP also market anti-emetic product for the prevention and treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea; vomiting and the treatment of radiation-induced nausea and vomiting; the prevention of total-body irradiation and half-body irradiation induced nausea and vomiting; the treatment of postoperative nausea and vomiting.
◎ Anti-Hemophilia drug
In addition, OEP cooperate with Pfizer to sell and promote anti-hemophilic factor (recombinant) including:
- XYNTHA indicated for the control and prevention of bleeding episodes in patients with hemophilia A (congenital factor VIII deficiency or classic hemophilia) and for surgical prophylaxis in patients with hemophilia A
- BENEFIX indicated for the control and prevention of bleeding episodes in patients with hemophilia B (congenital factor IX deficiency) and for Peri-operative management in patients with hemophilia B.

- Javlor®
Javlor (vinflunine) as monotherapy for the treatment of adult patients with advanced or metastatic transitional cell carcinoma of the urothelial tract after failure of a platinum-containing regimen
- Loramyc®
Loramyc® is a muco-adhesive buccal tablet providing an innovative delivery system of muconazole and is indicated for the treatment of oropharyngeal candidiases (OPC) in immuno-compromised patients.
- Multikine®
Multikine®, is the first immunotherapeutic agent being developed as a first-line standard of care treatment for cancer. It is currently being developed as first-line therapy for advanced primary head and neck cancer.
- Nanoplatin®
Nanoplatin® is a micellar nanoparticles containing cisplatin derivatives, produced by a coordination bonds of cisplatin to polyamino acid. It is under development for the indication in pancreatic cancer.
